VISUAL ART PRESENTATION

As for my visual art projects the material or certain objects often come first. It somehow finds me and keep insisting until I cannot ignore it anymore. Then the topic sneaks in. At first it is personal then it expands and suddenly I am deep into the study of alchemy, the human attempt to fly or something else. I make several experiments and I need to let the work rest for some time before I return to it.

FILM - VIDEO

My film or videos are connected to the same principles as collage art. I do montage where space and time and investigation are sequenced like a collage. My film represent poetry on the move.

PHOTO

To discover the world through the camera means to focus on magic details which surround us everywhere. I try my best to make the right photo on the spot to leave post editing at a minimum.

PAINTINGS AND COLLAGE

The making of collages as an artform involves the deconstruction of images or other items and the use of the deconstructed fragments to reconstruct a new image. A process much aligned with cut up - and blackout poetry and with interdisciplinary art practice in general. To combine fragments is perhaps what I am always doing.
