NATURE EXPERIMENTS
Artist book with collages in notebook of 140g black paper with photo of various plants and animals taken by me and superimposed and edited in negative colors + collages with sewing paper templates of botanical motives and black copied transparent paper of pressed leaves and flowers + a real pressed flower. 20 pages + cover. 29 x 21 cm. PFLANZE POESIE / PLANT POETRY
In 2020 I found a wonderful little book about wild flowers in one of the largest antiquarian bookshops in Berlin: Actually, the book found me - it just fell off the bookshelf as I walked by. I am very grateful for this book. The book is from 1963 and at that time there was a tradition of describing nature and flowers in particular in a very poetic way. Therefore, the text is well suited for so-called blackout and haiku-like poems, which I often use together with collage. The blackout technique not only gives new meaning to the text, it also gives the reader a vague idea of what is going on and hence you have to think the rest of the poem yourself.
I made 12 unika zines. Each one slightly different. Mixed materials. Black-out poetry and collage. I used placemats (normally used in restaurants) as covers for the zines and also as part of the collages. Handbound and sewn with black thread. 8 pages + cover. A6 size. Language: German.

INTERNAL is an alchemical collage zine series with botanic elements of mixed media: drawings, photos, negative photoprint, papercut, black cardboard with cuts, tinfoil, dried flowers. Content: blackout poetry with a Gothic touch, cut up text on gnostic alchemy and the essence of dew. Each one is slightly different. A5 size, 16 pages + cover. Handbound and sewn with black thread. TIME
Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock…
TIME & SOME TIME LATER
Once I did an experiment. For seven days I did not know the time. On the third day my sense of time had left me. The weather was grey. I felt I was about to step into another world. A world of floating time - an infinite space. I felt I could fly. I made an artist book about this and about time in general. The book also refers to my video: Tiden, Pausen & Paraplyerne (The Time, the Break & the Umbrellas). Years later, I decided to continue making the book (all the empty pages).

CHILDREN OF WARTIME / KRIGSKINDER
Artist book with an interpreted photo story concerning German children during the time 1941 - 1957. The discarded photo album was found in a flea market. Almost all photos of adults were removed and the remaining photos of children were rearranged to create a story in relation to my research on German children of wartime.
